Healthy Campus Saskatchewan (HCSK) is a community of practice that brings together 22 post-secondary institutions (including staff, students, and faculty), and 2 community organizations to support the health and wellbeing of students enrolled in post-secondary education programs.

HCSK’s vision is to create healthy, resilient campus communities where students feel safe, supported, and have the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to achieve their personal, academic, and future career goals.

The student advisory committee will consist of post-secondary students from across Saskatchewan who are passionate about student mental health and wellbeing. As a committee member, you will have the opportunity and platform to give input and feedback on how we can provide safer, more inclusive, and positive campus experiences that support student wellbeing.

Members of the committee will discuss topics pertaining to post-secondary students including but not limited to the following:

• Mental health and well-being
• Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
• Campus connectedness
• Cultural competence
• Accommodations
• Recreation
• Curriculum

• Advocacy experience
• Leadership skills
• Networking opportunities
• Governance experience
• Letters of reference from HCSK staff
• A small honorarium per meeting attended

• Attend monthly virtual meetings
• Contribute to discussions
• Staying connected to current events and trends on your campus and in your community
• Optional attendance at other HCSK meetings and events
